Where it all started
We began our journey in the cigar industry nearly two decades ago, working with the most highly regarded cigar companies. Fully immersed in the industry, we began searching high and low for the best tobacco farms in the world to use for exclusive cigars and limited runs. While we loved the pursuit of perfection that drove us in the cigar industry, our true passion had always been cannabis. In our younger days we would unravel high end cigars and roll up our favorite strains to get that experience that we had been searching for. After years of working in an industry we loved, but didn’t have a passion for, we decided to pursue our dreams and create the Ganjarillo. Our staple product led us to expand and offer an intentionally selected variety of cigars under Joya de Vázquez. We knew we had something special - access to the best tobacco and cannabis farms in the world and direct relationships with the farmers and their families.

We struck gold after reconnecting with our farmers with a new dream for creating the Ganjarillo. Years in the cigar industry had finally paid off, and we were lucky enough to gain exclusive use of a limited small batch farm’s personal use tobacco. These are leaves that will never see a cigar store shelf, grown and aged exclusively for the connoisseurs that are growing it. This is a once in a lifetime cigar smoking experience, every time.

After traveling the world to find the perfect tobacco, it was time to touchdown and land back home to find the perfect cannabis growers, and there is no better place to do that than the San Francisco Bay Area. Our passion was clear and after connecting and sharing our dream with the biggest names in small batch cannabis we were able to lock in exclusive partnerships with the most high quality cannabis growers in the state.
